Bharat: Salman Khan Finally Reacts to Priyanka Chopra's Exit From The Film

After completing her Hollywood duties, Priyanka Chopra is now keeping her date with the Hindi film industry.

Earlier, during the trailer launch of Loveratri, the Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor said, "I've not been reading the newspapers for the past 3-4 days".

Priyanka Chopra exiting Salman Khan-starrer Bharat was a big news. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Bharat is slated to hit theatres on June 5 next year. (We go to know at the end moment, 10 days before the shooting that she wants to leave the film).

Salman further added, "If we knew Priyanka had signed a massive film in Hollywood, we never would've stopped her". Vouching that the he supports her, Salman said, "I am really happy for her".

At the trailer launch of Loveratri, Salman Khan was asked about his reaction when Priyanka chose to leave the project to which he replied, "I am really happy for her. Uss waqt hum ko ye pata chalta ke unhone wahan par koi bahut badi film sign ki hai aur hume thoda pehla pata chalta to hum waise bhi usko kabhi rokte nahi (If we had known then that she has signed a big Hollywood film, we wouldn't have stopped her from leaving the film)".

The actor said that when Priyanka came to his home regarding this, she gave a completely different reason. She just started shooting for Shonali Bose's film, tentatively titled The Sky Is Pink.

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, who is now hosting the popular reality show Dus Ka Dum was noted saying that it is sad to see the couples spending time with each other in public places but these couples are helpless as there are around 8-10 people in a small house.

"Whatever it is - her wedding, a Hollywood film, or the fact that she does not want to work with me, it's her prerogative". So what if she is not working here, she is making India proud. "If she does not want to work with Salman Khan, it's okay; she's working with a big hero in Hollywood". Post Priyanka's exit, the team approached Katrina Kaif for the role and the actress agreed. It was later revealed that she has also signed an action movie, Cowboy Ninja Viking with Chris Pratt.
