Google Pixel 3 leaks again with USB C Pixel Buds in tow

The Android 9 Pie release is the proof in the proverbial pudding that Android as an operating system has hit its stride. Several images of a Pixel 3 XL production unit have just emerged and they offer us the closest look at Google's upcoming flagship.

The back shows the usual single camera setup and fingerprint reader.

Just hours before Samsung reveals its Galaxy Note 9, the leak floodgates have opened up once again, but this time for the Pixel 3 XL.

In addition, we can now see that the power button is a different color from the rest of the phone after all, only it's a light shade of green/blue rather than orange like we'd previously seen on prototype models.

It seems the Pixel 3 will have the same problem, according to a bunch of early photos published by Mobiltelefon.ru. But does the notch feel a bit tall to anyone else?

It's also possible to make out the dual-tone white finish on the rear.

Pixel 3 will be powered by a Snapdragon 845 CPU and 4GB of RAM. So we pretty much know what this device is going to look like. For now, the OS is "Android 9", although it would not be surprising to see that change to Android 9.1 in time for release-Google usually cooks up a x.1 release specifically for its phones.

In the video you'll see most of the concentration on the taking out of the contents of the box. That's definitely a nice improvement from last year's Pixel 2 devices, where you'd get a USB-C/3.5mm adapter for the earphones. Surprisingly, Google is including a pair of USB Type-C headphones with a Pixel Buds-like design.
