Kathleen Turner says working with Burt Reynolds was 'terrible'

I don't think she was very skilled.

"That's where you draw a line?" inquired Vulture's David Marchese.

"Working with Burt Reynolds was awful", she said of her "Switching Channels" co-star. I understood later, from Michael Douglas, that there was a competition between him and Jack Nicholson and Warren Beatty about who would get me first.

Nicolas Cage was "very difficult" to work with on the Francis Ford Coppola film Peggy Sue Got Married, Turner said, adding that an unnamed male actor bit her during a stage production. "I think it was simply that they were such a tight little group that nobody from the outside mattered", she said.

When asked if she ever bumped into Trump at one of these parties in New York, Turner told Vulture, "Yes". But as for the performance, I was able to put the negativity aside.

"I remember I was wearing this hard sequined gown - and my high heels were absolutely killing me", the 64-year-old recalled.

The actor says he's used his abuse problems to help fellow addicts telling The Hollywood Reporter: "I've had a lot of ups and downs in my life and a lot of wonderful accolades, but the best thing about me is that if an alcoholic comes up to me and says, 'Will you help me stop drinking?' I will say, 'Yes".

Moreover, when the interviewer asked her what she thought about their skills as actors and actresses, Turner said, "I won't comment on that".

She recalls how that manifested itself while shooting one episode in particular.

Turner also made sure to insult the president of the United States, as oh-so-many Hollywood celebrities go out of their way to do these days. "Yes. Yuck. He has this gross handshake", Turner replied. He goes to shake your hand and with his index finger kind of rubs the inside of your wrist.
