SE Michigan weather forecast: Plenty of rainfall expected Tuesday night

Towards the end of the week on Friday a frontal system will try to work its way into the ArkLaTex area. We should get a break from the rain in the afternoon before another round of showers and storms materialize in the evening.

Then on Sunday the atmosphere will still be rather juicy to fire off another round of hit or miss showers.

Formation chance through 5 days: Low (20%).

On Monday, we will continue to see the heat and humidity stick around with more widespread scattered storms across the area expected.

THURSDAY | Mostly sunny to partly cloudy and a bit less humid. Some storms could produce strong gusty winds and hail. As a cold front begins a slow drop to the south tonight, coverage in storms will begin to impact the central part of the state.

Sunday will be slightly cooler than Saturday because of cloud cover, with highs reaching 90 degrees in Denver.

Severe weather does not look likely overnight. Highs will climb into the upper 80s this afternoon, a few degrees above normal. Environmental conditions are expected to be only marginally conducive for the low to acquire subtropical or tropical characteristics while it moves little over the next day or so.
