What is Anushka Sharma doing in Team India photo? Fans not impressed

Anushka Sharma's presence came as a surprise as the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had barred the wives and girlfriends of the Indian cricket team players from accompanying their respective partners until the end of the third Test against England.

However, Anushka Sharma, Bollywood superstar and Kohli's wife, who is now in England, has faced a lot of Twitter fury after Indian cricket team's visit to Indian High Commission in London ahead of the second Test at Lord's.

Anushka Sharma, who is married to Indian Cricket Team Captain Virat Kohli, is the only relative in the picture. BCCI has been receiving a lot of flak for including Anushka in the Team India picture. According to the guidelines by the BCCI, wives were allowed to be with their partners only for two weeks during tours which exceed 45 days. In the picture, posted by BCCI on social media, the Bollywood actress can be seen standing in the front along side Kohli with majority of his teammates standing behind them.

Another user seems to be confused about Anushka Sharma's presence during the test series in England and questioned if Virat Kohli is playing cricket or is enjoying honeymoon!

India lost the first Test against England by 31 runs at the Edgbaston.

Anushka was also spotted in the stands during the series opener in Birmingham. For that, however, Kohli would need his most trusted batsmen in Murali Vijay and Ajinkya Rahane to deliver the goods.
