Blizzard confirms "multiple Diablo projects" in production, news by end of 2018

Ultimate barrage, but Blizzard dropped some huge news of their own by way of a quick Twitter video.

We've had numerous leaks, including job postings, in the past seemingly confirming a new Diablo game was now in production, but this is the first time we've had concrete proof directly from the developers themselves.

Today's video also offers some detail on Diablo 3's new season structure, which recently kicked off with the Season of Greed - that themed season path is set to continue in the future.

It's been quite some time since the release of Diablo III, and it seems like the time is ripe for the series to come back with multiple new projects. In it, she said some of the projects will take longer than others, adding that the company may have some things to share with fans later this year. For those of you still rocking your heroes in Reaper of Souls, you might have noticed we did something a little bit different for Season 14: Themed Seasons.

It's unclear what the multiple Diablo projects could be, but the one that's going to take longer to develop might be Diablo IV. Camel stated that Blizzard might reveal what's in development later this year.

BlizzCon 2018 runs from Friday, November 2 to Sunday, November 4 this year.
