Greg Hardy KO's Opponent in 17 Seconds for Second UFC Win

The former Dallas Cowboys defensive end quieted those critics fairly quickly with each passing knockout of his opponents.

Hardy, 30, earned a developmental contract with the UFC in June when he needed only 57 seconds to stop Austin Lane.

"I think I sent a message, yes ma'am, I'm here for business", Hardy said after the win.

In the night's co-main event we were treated to some lightweight talent as Devonte Smith fought Joseph Lowry.

Here is how the heavyweight slugfest went down, round-by-round, including FanSided's scoring of the fight. He has yet to have a fight last longer than 96 seconds, however, and he hasn't demonstrated that he has developed the wrestling and grappling ability necessary to become a true mixed martial artist.

Kennedy Nzechukwu made quick work of Dennis Bryant in a light heavyweight matchup on Tuesday night.

The former National Football League defensive end, who last played in 2015 for the Dallas Cowboys, won a UFC contract on Dana White's Tuesday night contender series in June after a brutal knockout win.

Gordon eventually collapsed to the mat, and Hardy finished the job with some vicious ground-and-pound.

The night started with Alex Gilpin facing J.R. Coughran and it started off fast and furious, with the two fighters trading strikes with one another.

The first two fights both ended in the exact same matter with dominant finishes from each of the fighters looking to impress the UFC matchmakers.

According to Ariel Helwani of ESPN.com, Tuesday's fight was the first of a four-fight contract Hardy has with UFC's parent company, Zuffa, even though it wasn't considered an official UFC fight.

And as you would expect, Hardy was hyped after his big win.
