Paul McCartney's Carpool Karaoke Coming Back As Prime-Time Special

The network says the hourlong special will feature never-before-seen footage from the "Paul McCartney Carpool Karaoke" segment which aired onThe Late Late Show with James Corden on June 21, during the week of shows from Central Hall Westminster in London.

Host James Corden dished on the details of the situation while playing Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts with West's mother-in-law Kris Jenner, as reported by PEOPLE. Corden responded without hesitation, "Oh, I can answer this easily".

Corden has done three Carpool Karaoke prime time specials, and the first two claimed Emmys. Justin Bieber, Adele, Britney Spears, Harry Styles, and even Red Hot Chili Peppers have done it; but staring at the list of guests long enough leads to one important question - when's Kanye West's time? I was in a vehicle by the time the call finished I was sat outside his houe, ' he revealed.

To make up for his last-minute cancellation, West, 41, sent him "a lovely gift".

"He sent me these incredible flowers in a cube". "People were like 'Whoa, they'e so expensive!' and I was like 'Yeah, they cost my show $45,000!' but we love him", Corden went on to add on Tuesday.

Still, Corden hopes that the "Ye" rapper will one-day be up for "Carpool Karaoke". "He knows that. He's my absolute dream". "And we sit and wait". The moments in the original 23-minute segment like Corden tearing up while singing "Let It Be", to Paul visiting his childhood home in Liverpool, to the surprise performance in a random pub at the end were off the chart heartwarming.
