Willian denies he's set to make move to Manchester United

Many are tipping Liverpool to be their closest challengers this season, after a a £123.6m spending spree this summer.

The Brazilian has been linked with moves to Manchester United, Barcelona and Real Madrid in recent weeks after his creative use of emoji made it clear he wasn't on the best of terms with Antonio Conte at the end of last season.

United are still expected to get a deal for a centre-back over the line before their opener against Leicester City on Friday, with Tottenham Hotspur's Toby Alderweireld, Leicester's Harry Maguire and Bayern Munich's Jerome Boateng thought to be on the top of Jose Mourinho's shortlist.

Last season, City won the EPL title and finished top of the Premier League with a whopping 100 points, 19 more than second-place United. West Ham is not one of them.

Jurgen Klopp's men demonstrated their ability to beat City on the big occasion last season, winning three of the four meetings between the sides, including a 5-1 aggregate win in the Champions League quarter-finals.

"We don't have many".

"We're expecting quite a few players could be leaving Chelsea today", Solhekol told Sky Sports News.

City haven't dipped into the deep pockets of their Abu Dhabi owners as significantly as Guardiola's first two summers in charge, but have still strengthened with club record signing Riyad Mahrez.

Jorginho struggled in the Chelsea side that City swept aside 2-0 thanks to a Sergio Aguero brace during Sunday's Community Shield and, after the match, Guardiola hinted his club might be closing in on a new signing.

Meanwhile, the future of Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is keeping dialogue open between the clubs, as he looks set for a €35 million (£31m/$41m) move to Real Madrid.

As the news emerged, Chelsea fans on Twitter erupted with joy.
