White House dismisses former Trump aide who branded him ‘racist’

In her book Unhinged, about her time working for Donald Trump at the White House, Omarosa cites three anonymous sources claiming the mics picked up on Trump using offensive language multiple times.

Omarosa also says there are tapes that exist in which Trump used the n-word on the set of the TV show, "Celebrity Apprentice". Trump has continuously insisted that he is not a "racist", but if audio recordings do eventually come about showing that he did use the n-word to criticize African Americans, it would be hard for him to deny that label any longer.

Omarosa worked with Trump on The Apprentice and followed him into the White House, drawing an annual salary of $179,700, was married at the Trump International Hotel in Washington, DC, and brought her bridal party to the White House for photos. The contract also suggested that Omarosa would do "diversity outreach" for Trump's 2020 campaign.

The proposed nondisclosure agreement allegedly said Manigault Newman could not make any comments about President Trump or his family; Vice President Pence or his family; or any comments that could damage the president.

Conway tweeted this morning that he's not buying Manigault Newman's claim. Further bolstering the likelihood of this claim the fact President Trump's longtime bodyguard Keith Schiller was offered a similar amount from the Republican National Committee after he left the White House. According to excerpts in media outlets, Manigault-Newman questions Trump's mental state and accuses him of using racial epithets.

President Donald Trump holds an African American History Month listening session attended by nominee to lead the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Ben Carson (R), Director of Communications for the Office of Public Liaison Omarosa Manigault (L) and other officials in the Roosevelt Room of the White House on February 1, 2017 in Washington, DC. The two remain in contact, according to people familiar with the relationship. Since Trump was ever the germophobe, I was shocked he appeared to be chewing and swallowing the paper.

Sanders says, "It's sad that a disgruntled former White House employee is trying to profit off these false attacks".

The White House issued a statement on Friday that slammed Unhinged, the new book from Omarosa Manigault, as being "riddled with lies and false accusations".
