In wake of book, Trump calls Omarosa 'a lowlife'

Omarosa Manigault Newman entered the White House as one of President Donald Trump's longest-serving associates, the only person aside from his daughter who'd known and worked alongside him for more than a decade.

Manigault Newman's book also alleges how Trump made a farcical effort to sell copies of his book Trump: The Art Of The Deal at his inauguration as President in January a year ago.

Chait points to the a Politico story in which White House staffers say they are unwilling to take her on.

According to her, Trump suggested he was sworn in over the book instead of the Bible.

Manigault Newman served as the director of communications for the White House's Office of Public Liaison and claims chief of staff John Kelly fired her because she was close to getting audio of Trump using the racial slur. In the book, she paints Trump as scattered, self-absorbed, misogynistic and insecure. "The Art of the Deal is a bestseller!" It's the greatest business book of all time. "Just think how many copies I'd sell - maybe a commemorative inauguration copy?"

She told him to forget about it and writes that "we laughed, he wanted me to believe he was kidding".

According to multiple reports, she cites three unnamed sources in "Unhinged" who claim to have heard Trump use the "N-word" repeatedly during the making of The Apprentice.

She also writes that Trump is showing signs of "mental decline that could not be denied".

In the book, Manigault Newman painted the president as scattered, self-absorbed, misogynistic and insecure.

A previous Inquisitr article also notes that Omarosa has claimed that Donald Trump eats paper.

"It's sad that a disgruntled former White House employee is trying to profit off these false attacks, and even worse that the media would now give her a platform, after not taking her seriously when she had only positive things to say about the President during her time in the administration", Sanders said.
