Manchester United Legend Names His Best Teammates XI

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba and manager Jose Mourinho haven't shared the best of relationships with each other since last season.

Now, French publication L'Equipe claim that Zidane is eyeing a move to the Premier League.

The Portuguese left his first spell at Chelsea shortly after starting his third year at the club, before a hugely successful two-year stay at Inter Milan preceded a three-year stint at Real Madrid.

However, the World Cup-winning midfielder impressed for Manchester United in their opening Premier League game against Leicester City, which led to Jose praising him.

And finally, Paul Scholes believes his old club won't challenge for the Premier League title this season due to club's hard summer.

This is despite finishing 19 points behind Manchester City.

Old Trafford boss Mourinho has "been at odds with United's hierarchy this summer", says the Metro, after a frustrating pre-season.

United's executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward was unable to strike a deal for either player Tottenham's Toby Alderweireld and Bayern Munich's Jerome Boateng who were both wanted by Mourinho.

The Sun reported in July that Zidane was top of United's shortlist should Mourinho leave the club.

It was also suggested that Mino Raiola was behind the rumours, in an attempt to engineer a move or a better contract for his client, and Pogba has done little to dampen speculation with a series of cryptic comments.

The same article states that Manchester United believe the summer signing will take a full part in the training session but the suggestion is that Dalot will require a couple of weeks to get up to speed.

The Red Devils gaffer voiced his concerns after failing to land key players in the transfer market and looks dissatisfied with United's transfer activities and current squad.
