Trump disparaged son, Harriet Tubman, says former White House aides book

Omarosa penned her book Unhinged: An Insider's Account of the Trump White House after she was reportedly fired for using the White House's executive vehicle service 'like a personal Uber'. Staffer Lynne Patton called Manigault Newman a "disgruntled employee" on "Anderson Cooper 360" Tuesday night. A woman says he and an accomplice beat the crap out of her after they thought she was filming them in a restaurant. Manigault said she felt like she needed to tape conversations to protect herself, she said.

The bold claims surfaced in a new book written by Omarosa Manigault-Newman which details her experience working as an aide at the White House and some of what she has to say is causing quite the controversy, including this insight regarding the First Lady.

The White House counters that Manigault Newman is a disgruntled former staffer with credibility and character issues who is now trying to profit through false attacks against someone she has worked with and supported for more than a decade, including his presidential campaign. "I just want them to know that everything that you see in Unhinged, that's quoted, can be verified as documented and corroborated." she said.

But Manigault Newman insisted she pushed for diversity at the White House, which now has no African-American in a senior role following her departure.

"I think he was lonely and liked seeing a familiar face", she writes in the book.

President Donald Trump listens to his daughter, Ivanka Trump, speak to supporters at a rally at H&K Equipment, a rental and sales company for specialized material handling solutions on January 18, 2018 in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania.

President Trump has denied using the N-word. "It probably stemmed from the fact that she was very upset with me because I.wouldn't be in her wedding and people were telling me she was very upset that I chose not to be in her wedding".

"It's odd because most people when they think of dogs don't think of firing them", Meyers said - citing such references from Trump about Glenn Beck, Erick Erickson, David Gregory, Bill Maher, and Chuck Todd. "There is no excuse that there's not another African-American assistant to the president". "He uses his rallies to really encourage people to bring down African-Americans".

Manigault Newman has been associated with Trump for more than a decade.

Critics condemned Trump's tweet for what they said were racial and sexist undertones. "He has done it multiple times, and it's unusual because most people, when they think of dogs, they don't think of firing them", Meyers said.

And now Trump's campaign is taking legal action. And in the meantime, absent any reliable evidence to the contrary, we have to assume it doesn't.
