The Eagles ran the 'Philly Special' again and Twitter lost its mind

It showed the unbelievable chemistry they have on and off the field and the aggressive play calling from Doug Pederson that earned him a Super Bowl title. They needed a last stand by their defense, just as they got in last year's divisional playoff victory over the Falcons.

Ajayi scored on runs of 1 and 11 yards and the Eagles even came up with a version of the Philly Special.

Not only did Wentz tear his ACL when he suffered his injury back in December, but he also tore his LCL.

By the time the Falcons realized what hit them, Agholor found a streaking Foles wide open down the sideline for a 15-yard gain and first down. This one, known as "Philly Philly", provided the spark he was looking for in an 18-12 win over the Atlanta Falcons.

Needing to inject some life into the unit, Pederson dialed up a play similar to the "Philly Special" that came to define the Eagles' Super Bowl win over the New England Patriots.

The drive ended with Jay Ajayi crossing the goal line for the first touchdown of the National Football League season.

Eagles right tackle Lane Johnson confirmed that the Patriots did inspire the play while taking a knock at Tom Brady in the process. The exact question that Foles asked Pederson on fourth down.

Nick Foles is the only quarterback to throw and catch a touchdown in Super Bowl history.
