The Last Remnant Remastered Will Mark the Game’s PS4 Debut

The Last Remnant Remastered will use the superior and modern Unreal Engine 4 to improve the graphics while keeping the same story and gameplay. Unreal Engine 4 is a registered trademark of Epic Games, Inc. The publisher didn't offer any explanation for the game's seemingly abrupt removal from Steam, but the reason has now become clear: Square Enix has announced The Last Remnant is being remastered for PS4.

The Last Remnant Remastered uses Unreal Engine 4, and the story revolves around ancient artifacts called "Remnants", which grant enormous power to the wielder.

Square Enix surprised us a few weeks back with plans to discontinue sales of the 2008 RPG The Last Remnant.

Originally released in 2008, The Last Remnant captured the hearts and minds of gamers with its enthralling story, countless characters and intricate battle system. The original game is considered a cult classic RPG. It also says The Last Remnant: Remastered is launching on PlayStation 4 on December 6, with no other platforms listed. I don't believe any DLC existed for The Last Remnant and there isn't a mention of PS4 Pro support, so your guess is as good as mine.

In The Last Remnant Remastered players are taken to a war torn world filled with ancient artefacts that grant mysterious powers to those who wield them.
