IPhone Xs, Xs Max and Xr RAM and Geekbench scores surface

IPhone Xs, Xs Max and Xr RAM and Geekbench scores surface

This deal is offered for the iPhone X, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max.

There's a good working theory that the iPhone X was an experimental phone that cost a lot to produce, and that Apple chose not to make it available at a discounted price to avoid cannibalising sales of the XS.

Apple also announced the iPhone XR during the presentation.

The two phones are nearly identical in design and features, with the XS being a refinement of last year's phone. The new range now comes with a fullscreen display and FaceID as standard - this was introduced by the trendsetting iPhone X previous year.

With these changes astir, now might be the ideal time to pick up a discontinued iPhone before it falls out of circulation, especially if you're after a model with a headphone jack. The iPhone 7 now starts at £449/$449, and the 7 Plus at £569/$569. The XS comes with a better chip under the hood and is more water-resistant, but for most people the differences will feel incremental. The XR has a 6.1-inch screen, which lands it right between the XS and XS Max in terms of size.

Arguably the most notable new product: the iPhone Xr delivers iPhone X style with a price cut and some caveats.

The iPhone XR starts at $749 with 64GB of storage, the same price as a smaller screened iPhone 8 256GB model and $50 more than an iPhone plus with 64GB of storage. Both factors that should conserve energy in comparison. There are still other important details we need to know about iPhone Xs, Xs Max, and Xr, such as the clock frequency of the chipset. "An extra 5 to 10 percent sales tax rate will be tacked on in the states depending where you reside, but at most, a U.S. resident is paying $1,099 for a base model iPhone XS with tax included".
