Despite that, Richarlison has continued his fine form by making his Brazil debut against U.S. as a 15-minute substitute before scoring two goals in a 5-0 friendly win over El Salvador.

Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar and FC Barcelona playmaker Philippe Coutinho were on target in Brazil's 5-0 win in an worldwide friendly, while a Lionel Messi-less Argentina were held to a scoreless draw on Wednesday morning.

The South Americans had last week defeated the United States 2-0 and followed it up with a dominant performance where Neymar got the scoring underway from the penalty spot on just four minutes.

Not only did the talented attacker bag a brace for Tite's side, he also won a first-half penalty that Neymar stroked home to give his team the lead.

Tite insisted the match showed positive signs despite El Salvador's lowly footballing status, "The idea of football remains unchanged, independent of the opponent".

Brazil's next games will be friendlies in Saudi Arabia against the host nation on October 12 and then Argentina four days later.

"The team has attacking in their DNA, as well as pressing the opponent, [playing with] constantly high pressure, it manages to work all the time with this rotation".

Since completing his move from Watford to Everton, Richarlison has been impressive.

"Richarlison does not look to the sides, he looks forward", he added.
