Apple iPhones get bigger and pricier

A $100 discount on a phone that, until last week, was Apple's best iPhone doesn't sound too bad. While, as a first, the company offers unlocked iPhones from day one, these new iPhones will no longer come bundled with a dongle inside the box.

As wifely rumoured, the new flagship iPhone is called the iPhone XS Max and has a giant 6.5in screen. There's an intro video for the watch as well.

The smartphone giant released three new handsets this week, while discontinuing the iPhone SE, the company's last device with a four-inch display.

The iPhone Upgrade Program also includes AppleCare+, Apple's insurance policy.

Apple iPhone X was not a big success in India. The XS Max, the largest iPhone to date and one of the biggest on the market, has a 6.5-inch (16.5-cm) screen, and will start selling at $1,099.

The iPhone Xr is coming later than the other devices, and will be available to pre-order from October 19th, with the phone arriving a week after on October 26th. Aside from worrying about breaking the glass, I had no problems with it the iPhone X. In fact, I already had my mind set on not paying $1,000 for a new iPhone this year.

"Some Series 4 and XS Max models sold out in less than a minute". The phone is basically an iPhone XS variation, sporting a few downgrades that make it more affordable.

Even with the various deals and promos that will be available around the world, the $999 iPhone XS is still expensive, especially after buying the iPhone X past year. We get you all the action from Cupertino. If you lease that same $999 phone with the iPhone Upgrade Program, you will have paid nearly $600 over the full year.

According to ZDNet, the "hero of the year" tweet stood out because Huawei has been accused in several countries of releasing phones that have security issues. Wearables, AI, augmented reality and smart home devices are coming into their own, and Apple is certainly an important player to keep an eye on in these spaces if you care about the future of tech.
