Razer Phone 2 will be announced a day after the Pixel 3

The Razer Phone launched in November 2017 is the company's first ever smartphone.

Further support for the idea that this event will be the premiere of the Razer Phone 2 comes by way of a leaked render, surfacing earlier this week.

Razer Phone 2 is also expected to come with Snapdragon 845 octa-core, Qualcomm's latest and the most powerful mobile processor to date that can reach a clock speed up to 2.8GHz.

So, what do you think about this?

Razer Phone 2 will be a successor the original Razer Phone, one of the first smartphone in the market with a 120Hz display. Then again the Razer Phone is a very niche product, and the focus is more on offering an immersive gaming experience over anything else.

The event is set for October 10.

If you thought this year's Razer phone would feature a significant redesign over last year's model, it seems you're out of luck.

The Razer Phone 2 is coming this year, and that much has already been confirmed by the company making it. That device was apparently a big success for the company, which previously had concentrated on launching hardware and accessories for the PC and console gaming audience.

The invite itself (via Droid Life) has an Razer Phone-like outline, which may indicate that the overall design for the Razer Phone 2 will not be a radical departure from the first phone.
