Meghan Markle Kept a Wedding Day Secret From Prince Harry

Meghan Markle Kept a Wedding Day Secret From Prince Harry

It seems Kate isn't the only duchess with a bit of a competitive streak.

Play ball! Prince Harry and Meghan Markle delighted attendees at the Coach Core Awards on Monday, September 24, as they took to the court to help empower young people.

And - rather impressively - she did it all in stilettos.

Most of the time, the Duchess sports a curly blow-dry or a messy bun but today, she changed it up completely and opted for poker-straight hair, not a hairstyle we're used to seeing on the new royal.

Meghan, dressed in a top by Oscar de la Renta, pants by Altuzarra and stiletto heeled shoes showed willing as did Harry, who was similarly casually dressed in a smart jacket, shirt and pants.

The pair were joined at the event, which focuses on the next generation of sportsmen and women, by British marathon runner Paula Radcliffe, tennis star Laura Robson, and netball player Eboni Beckford-Chambers.

It is a key interest area for Prince Harry and Meghan, who will visit Sydney next month to attend the Invictus Games, the global sporting competition founded by Prince Harry for injured and ill military personnel and veterans.

Meghan, 37, could be seen getting into the swing of things, taking part in a netball shootout while Harry, 34, mingled with graduates from the young athletes program.

The Coach Core programme is set to double its reach over the next three years, adding 10 new sites thanks to a £995,500 National Lottery grant.

And with an itinerary including a guided tour of the red light district and a boat trip down the canals - which were not attended by Harry and Meghan - it could have been an eye-opening introduction to the city.
