Pixel Slate: first Images of Google’s new tablet leak

Google will be officially unveiling the new Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL smartphones on October 9 in NY, and ahead of the launch, there's hardly anything that we don't about the smartphones. Make sure to subscribe below and check us out on Twitter to stay up-to-date with the latest from NYC as we head to Google's hardware event for some hands-on with all the new stuff.

In addition to the aforementioned phones, you can also expect Google to unveil new Pixel Buds, a Pixel Slate 2-in-1 laptop, a Pixelbook 2, Chromecast 3 and maybe - just maybe - a Pixel 3 Mini.

The iPhone also features Google's search engine, but Google may be paying Apple as much as $9 billion annually for that privilege, based on the estimates of Goldman Sachs analyst Rod Hall. The Pixel 3 will not sport a notch, unlike its Pixel 3 XL sibling.

The Google invite to the October event.

The Google Pixel Slate sports dark blue color. In terms of specifications, Google Pixel 2 comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB of RAM and 12.3-megapixel camera.

But there's also been a theory going around that at least some of the leaks were planned by Google to sow disinformation before the event, and that there's going to be some big reveal at tomorrow's release that no one saw coming.

Leaked photos claim to show a smart display, called the 'Google Home Hub, ' which features a 7-inch display mounted on top of a speaker. That being said, the Google "Bonito" smartphone rumor had surfaced recently, suggesting that the company may announce tiny smartphone as well, a phone that is smaller than the Google Pixel 3. Although the Geekbench entry specifies Android 9 "Pie" as the operating system, it has been stated that the tablet will utilize Chrome OS, whilst also being capable of installing and running Android apps. It will open the Google Assistant on squeezing the edge of the phone. The screen should have a 3: 2 form factor and the stylus should be very similar to the one presented past year along with Pixelbook.

In either case, we've only got a day left until we know the truth.
