Kate Middleton and Prince William Wow at Mental Health Summit Appearance

Kate Middleton went for some casual, tried-and-true wardrobe staples for her first post-maternity-leave royal appearance last week, but it was then time to bring out the big guns - and boy, did she deliver.

Showing her thrifty side once again, the Duchess of Cambridge, 36, recycled a stunning lilac Emilia Wickstead dress as she attended the Global Ministerial Mental Health Summit in London with William on Tuesday, coupling the knee-length frock with nude Gianvito Rossi heels.

The young royals have been strong advocates for mental health, setting up the Heads Together campaign in 2016 through their official charity, The Royal Foundation.

The summit saw political figures, academics and policymakers discuss issues surrounding mental health, with the event working to help countries work together to address said issues. "This is a great, great compliment", Kate told Vargas of his painting.

"Where can you hide it", Kate joked as she painted a white stroke, and which point Prince William said, "It's nearly ruined the picture", before adding, "No, this is probably how you ruin a picture" as he took his turn.

The couple also learned about Friendship Bench, part of an innovative programme from Zimbabwe, which has taught elderly women the skills to become trained 'community grandmothers'.

The duchess first showed off the Emilia Wickstead dress on a trip to Germany a year ago.

Also this week, the Duchess is expected to appear at the Victoria & Albert Museum on Wednesday for her first visit as a royal patron of the institution, and she and William, along with George and Charlotte, are slated to attend Princess Eugenie's wedding to Jack Brooksbank on Friday at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle.
