Nintendo Switch Online Adds an Easy Version of Zelda

Nintendo Switch Online Adds an Easy Version of Zelda

With these players in mind, Nintendo has released an SP (Special) version of the game that has you start out with "all equipment, including the White Sword, the Magical Shield, the Blue Ring, and even the Power Bracelet". A special data save is now available within the game, rewarding players with "a ton of rupees and items", according to the company.

If you're a subscriber of the recently launched Nintendo Switch Online service, and especially if you're a fan of the instant-access NES catalogue now available to you, you may well be aware that today sees the release of three new games. Basically acting like an in-built Game Genie, you start the game with every item and upgrade, making the adventure much easier from the get-go.

The Big N also added a surprise entry into the mix: The Legend of Zelda: Living the Life of Luxury. Once people beat the game one time, a more hard version called Second Quest unlocks. Marked on the app's home screen with a big red ribbon labelling it a special game, the ROM hack gives players all items and other starting advantages that make the game a lot easier to play and more open in its early sections.

Yes, as promised, Solomon's Key, NES Open Tournament Golf and Super Dodge Ball have all arrived, bumping the standard roster of NES games up to 23 in total, but this new Zelda option takes that total up another notch. The third game is also sports themed. The original "Metroid" comes out in November, along with "Mighty Bomb Jack" and "TwinBee".
