HMD Global to launch a new Nokia phone today at 12 pm

HMD Global recently sent out press invitations for a Nokia announcement event which is scheduled for today, October 11 at 12:00 AM in New Delhi. You can check detailed Nokia 3.1 Plus specs below. On the front, the Nokia 3.1 Plus gets an 8MP f/2.2 sensor.

The Nokia 3.1 Plus features a 5.99-inch HD+ IPS display that offers a screen resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio. Airtel customers will be entitled to 1TB of data on purchasing the Nokia 3.1 Plus. However, it has a similar offering in the form of Nokia 6.1 Plus which sports the same chipset.

While the new Nokia 3.1 Plus runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box, the latest Android 9.0 Pie update will be rolled out in the coming months. The average global retail prices for the two variants are €159 and €179, which translate to around $185 and $210, respectively. Powered by 3,500 mAh battery, the phone is aimed at multimedia enthusiasts. The handset itself has 4GB inbuilt storage along with microSD card support for up to 32GB.

The budget smartphone packs a dual camera setup on the back with a 13MP + 5MP configuration with f/2.0 aperture for the primary sensor. The "banana phone" is finally here - Nokia 8110 4G. The new model largely brings the same banana form factor and slider cover that protects the keyboard. You can slide the lower half of the phone to take calls and push it back to cut the call. The phone will be available across offline stores and Nokia's e-store online. Interestingly, the phone comes with a revamped Snake game.

As far as specifications are concerned, the Nokia 8110 flaunts a 2.4-inch QVGA curved display, and under the hood is Qualcomm's 205 dual-core Mobile Platform.

Nokia 8110 4G feature phone is available in two colour options of "Traditional Black" and "Banana Yellow". Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE with hotspot, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, a Micro-USB port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
