Manchester City have a buy-back option on Jadon Sancho

Spurs were reportedly keen on signing the winger when he was at Manchester City as part of a deal for Kyle Walker and look set to reignite their interest after missing out.

Christian Pulisic, the United States of America worldwide and a Dortmund team-mate, has been a big influence: "He is another young guy, and I learn from him". Often foreign players, even young ones, seem more desirable to clubs.

Borussia Dortmund sensation Jadon Sancho said he is happy in the Bundesliga as he stands on the cusp of his England debut.

The 18-year-old, who made his first senior start for Dortmund in the 4-3 win over Augsburg as he picked up his sixth assist of the season, is not looking too far into the future at present.

His impressive form has earned him a first call up to the England side for this week's Nations League's game against Spain and Croatia and also a slew of admirers in this country.

One report has claimed that he could become a £100 million player.

Sancho, 18, is now the leading assist provider across Europe's top five divisions, despite only earning his first start in the league this weekend.

Dortmund are apparently gearing themselves up for transfer offers in the summer and believe they should get around as much as they sold Ousmane Dembele to Barcelona for in the summer of 2017.

Sancho has recently signed a new contract with the Bundesliga giants after impressing in the early stages of the season.

Sancho initially left to get more game time and there's no doubt that should someone from the Premier League buy him now he'd be a guaranteed starter.

However, despite most of his domestic action coming from the bench, Sancho has already starred in the Champions League, contributed a goal and - nearly more impressively - six assists, the joint most in Europe's top five leagues.
