Samsung Galaxy A9 Star Pro quad rear camera configuration revealed

Samsung Galaxy A9 Star Pro quad rear camera configuration revealed

The Samsung Galaxy A9 will be released in selected markets from November 2018.

The smartphone industry is doing a Gillette, it seems: first we had dual rear-camera phones, then Huawei came out with the three-rear-cam P20 Pro, and now Samsung has one-upped them with the Galaxy A9, which according to a new leak will have FOUR of the blighters. In the meantime, what are your thoughts on the Galaxy A9? The phone packs 128GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 512GB via a microSD card.

The primary camera is a 24-megapixel sensor with an f/1.7 aperture that handles most of point-and-shoot needs. Samsung has already launched the "flagship" Galaxy S9 and the plus-size Note 9 this year. Finally, the last camera in the set-up packs an ultra-wide 10-megapixel sensor that provides a 120-degree field of view and should let you capture tall landmarks and big group shots without too much hassle. Below it is a 10MP f/2.4 telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom.

And that's not where the cameras end, since there is a 24MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 for all selfies and video calls.

Speaking at the event, DJ Koh, president and chief executive of the IT and mobile communications division at Samsung Electronics, said that with the Galaxy A7 and A9, the company was "showcasing Samsung's commitment to serve everyone".

There's another new Samsung Galaxy phone trying to grab your attention and this one comes with a very unique feature. It measures 162.50 x 77.00 x 7.80 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 183.00 grams.
