President Trump, Kanye West to have White House lunch

West's mother and father separated when he was young, so he didn't have a lot of "male energy" in the home growing up, he said Thursday.

Then, according to Jenkins, West announced he made a hat for Trump that says "Make America Great" sans the "again" - and that Trump wore it. "You made a Superman cape for me", he said.

It was surreal moment even for a White House accustomed to surreal moments.

West later said online that he met with Trump in 2016 "to discuss multiracial issues" such as "bullying, supporting teachers, modernizing curriculum and violence in Chicago".

Trump's daughter Ivanka Trump and son-in-law and adviser, Jared Kushner, also attended the lunch.

West slams Saturday Night Live and liberals: Last Month, while appearing on Saturday Night Live, West delivered an unscripted tirade as the show came to a close, in which he endorsed the former reality host.

"I feel it is important to have a direct line of communication with our future President if we truly want change", he said in the since-deleted tweets.

The White House has said they will talk about manufacturing, prison reform, preventing gang violence and reducing violence in Chicago, where West grew up. He started showing that he actually had power, he wasn't just one of a monolithic voice, that he could wrap people around.

Ike Barinholtz, who directed the upcoming Trump-inspired political satire "The Oath", said the meeting was inappropriate given the hurricane that is wrecking havoc on the east coast. He has at various points suggested slavery was "a choice" and that the 13th Amendment, which outlawed slavery, should be abolished.

West credits Trump with stopping a potential war with North Korea and is encouraging Trump to swap his usual Air Force One jet for a hydrogen-powered plane.

"This right here is the iPlane 1", he said. "This is what our president should be flying". This is our president. "He has to be the freshest, the flyest" and have "the flyest planes".

In an Oval Office meeting with Mr. Trump that was open to the press and also included NFL Hall of Fame running back Jim Brown, Mr.

Following the lengthy monologue, the president said: "That was quite something".

"I'll tell you what, that was pretty impressive", Trump said.

To which West replied, "Only after 2024". "I just channeled it", West responded. You better play 4D chess with me.

"I felt that I knew people who voted for Trump that were celebrities that were scared to say that they liked him", he said.

Trump moved on to the topic West was ostensibly there to discuss. "The problem is illegal guns, illegal guns is the problem", he said. Kardashian West, who was a vocal supporter of the Clinton campaign and a critic of Trump's, has since softened her tone.

"I love Hillary, I love everyone, right". We are both dragon energy. "He is my brother", West wrote. Ms. Kardashian has been working with administration officials on prison reform and helped to convince Mr. Trump earlier this year to pardon Alice Marie Johnson, who served more than two decades in federal prison after being convicted on nonviolent drug charges.

Setmayer called West an "attention whore" and a "token negro", while Sellers said "Kanye West is what happens when negroes don't read".
