Conway tells Hillary Clinton to 'tamp down the rhetoric'

In an interview with CNN's Christiane Amanpour on Tuesday, Hillary Clinton said it's time for the left to stop being civil and take the gloves off.

This woman is telling us that her political party - which, if it were a college football program, would be given the death penalty because of its numerous immoral activities - is the answer to making all things right again. Hillary Rodham Clinton, I beg you: Please run again.

White House advisor Kellyanne Conway is firing verbal bombs in the direction of former Democratic Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton in the wake of recent comments she made that were critical of President Donald Trump.

Heitkamp is facing a tough re-election race against her GOP opponent Kevin Cramer.

Cramer hit Heitkamp for her opposition to Kavanaugh and dismissed the #MeToo movement at large in a The New York Times interview Monday. "They are pioneers of the prairie".

Heitkamp dismissed Cramer's remarks Tuesday as "a disgusting message". "If all we do is point fingers, that's not going to serve any goal for the victims of sexual assault in this country", Heitkamp said.

She also drew widespread criticism when she claimed that her loss had contributed to the rise of "Me Too" movement, saying that "although it was a wave that was building", her election debacle "probably accelerated that wave" in April. You shouldn't report it? Which I think would be a terrible message. "But it's the other message, that if you're a strong woman you aren't ever going to be victimized, because that's the wrong message too - has nothing to do with the strength of who we are".

"That's ridiculous", Sen. Heidi Heitkamp, a red-state Democrat who has billed herself as a moderate, told CNN. "I remember what they did to me for 25 years - the falsehoods, the lies, which unfortunately people believe", she said.

"I knew the easy political vote would've been a "yes" vote. I think somebody with subpoena power is required to get to the bottom of it, but it's very unusual".
