Melania Trump Mocked in New Music Video by Rapper T.I

A spokesperson for Melania Trump has called for a boycott of rapper T.I. after he released a video featuring a first lady lookalike stripping in the Oval Office.

T.I. posted the video on his Twitter account with the remark 'Dear 45, I ain't Kanye'.

It portrays him in the Oval Office as a woman wearing a jacket emblazoned with "I really don't care, do u?" dances provocatively in front of him.

In June 2018, the First Lady wore this insensitive jacket - which was $39 from Zara - while boarding a plane to Texas to visit a centre for families separated at the USA border.

Reacting to T.I., her communications chief Stephanie Grisham tweeted on Saturday: "How is this acceptable?"

T.I. cast a Melania Trump look-alike in a music video promoting his new album. You could criticise whatever you want to say.

In an exclusive interview with the ABC last Friday she said, 'I could say I'm the most bullied person in the world'. "But it will not stop me to do what I feel is right".

'I support the women and they need to be heard.

Grisham has plenty of experience defending the first lady against negative portrayals in media.

Melania Trump criticised the media for being "obsessed" about her clothing.

Melania's apparent stand delighted supporters, but critics have focused on the fact the admission has caught her team in a lie, and criticised the timing of her message.
