‘Devil May Cry 5’ fans in Japan get insane $8,000 bundle

Are you interested in the Ultra Limited Edition of Devil May Cry 5? The daftest one of them all is the DMC 5 Ultra Edition featuring Dante's iconic red trenchcoat, available for an eye-watering ¥900,000 (roughly £6,100).

In Japan, you can pre-order the Ultra Limited Edition of Devil May Cry 5.

For cosplay enthusiasts with deep pockets, these are the real deal, as they appear to be proper replicas of the garments that were donned by actors and scanned into the game itself. You also get the game as well, of course, so around $60 will go toward that. There's also the "V" Edition, which costs a bargain 600,000 Yen ($5300) and doesn't even have sleeves.

The contents of limited-edition videogame bundles don't always live up to their price tags. His jacket design is the first to be revealed, and two more are coming in at a later date: one by illustrator Daigo Ikeno and another by graphic designer Chika Sanada. That means there's a bundle for Dante, one for Nero, and a third for V, who will be making his debut in Devil May Cry 5. Reservations are now being taken by emailing Capcom at "support_e-capcom@capcom.com" and will run from today, October 22 to Monday, November 19, 2018 at 10 A.M.
