Patrick Peterson wants out of Arizona

The situation out with the Arizona Cardinals is going sour for the veteran cornerback, Patrick Peterson.

Further more, the Giants, with the right quarterback, can easily be a competitive team in 2019, due to the potential of having over $50 million in cap space. Over the last two weeks, rumors have been flying around about Peterson's availability for trading.

Trading Peterson would give the Cardinals the chance to stockpile draft picks and build a team around rookie quarterback Josh Rosen.

The desire for a trade makes sense, but now the Cardinals are making it hard.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Peterson "desperately" wants out of AZ and has asked the Cardinals brass to trade him before next Tuesday. That won't stop Peterson from begging to be sent off to another team though, as his desired destination has leaked.

Former NFL player Bryant McFadden, who is Peterson's cousin, wrote on Twitter that the Saints, Eagles and Patriots are all showing interest. So where does he want to play?

McFadden also claimed to have received the info from Peterson himself. While the Saints could use some help in the secondary, they are still one of the NFC's top contenders.

Unfortunately for the Saints, completing this trade would be rather hard as they don't possess a first or third round selection in the upcoming draft.

Schefter added that the Cardinals "continue to insist they're not trading him", though Peterson has continued to make trade requests.
