Titanic II To Set Sail In 2022

Titanic II To Set Sail In 2022

According to a news from Bloomberg, work has been resumed on the Titanic project by Blue Star Line, the Australian company working on recreating a better and improved version of the ill-fated Titanic with modern safety standards and new technology.

The "Titanic II" will be casting off from Dubai to NY...

The ship will provide guests with an authentic Titanic experience offering the same interiors and cabin layout as the original ship with the addition of modern safety procedures.

The ship will feature the same cabin layout as the original and will even have nearly the same number of passengers and crew - 2,4000 and 900 respectively.

This time around, Titanic II will have enough lifeboats for everyone onboard in the event of a tragedy.

It's been 106 years since the ship's tragic sinking, but the lore of the RMS Titanic remains. That issue has been resolved, according to Blue Star.

After the ship travels the historical Titanic Southampton-New York route in the summer, the Titanic II will call Dubai its regular port.

The original Titanic sank on April 15 1912 after striking an iceberg - and both the ship's architect and its captain were among 1,500 people who died in the disaster. "For over a century Titanic's legend has been powered by mystery, intrigue and respect for all she stood for".
