Mac Miller's cause of death revealed

Mac Miller's cause of death revealed

The report, relayed by TMZ, reveals it was Mac's assistant who found him unresponsive and called emergency services.

The L.A. County Coroner's Office released its toxicology findings, and according to the report Mac died from "mixed drug toxicity" - specifically fentanyl, coke. and alcohol too. His death was categorized as an accidental overdose, TMZ reported. Each drug on its own wasn't enough to kill him, but it was the mixture that did it.

The 26-year-old, who rose to fame after topping United States charts with his debut album in 2011, was found dead at his California home in September. During the 911 call, his assistant said that Miller was "blue". He also had blood coming out of one of his nostrils.

Law enforcement sources say it was clear to paramedics that Mac was dead long before they arrived. A rolled up $20 bill with white powdery residue was also found in his right pocket. The list of pills recovered in the home include Xanax, oxycodone, hydrocodone, and generic Adderall. The concert included performances by Anderson.Paak, ScHoolboy Q, Alchemist, Action Bronson, Vince Staples, Chance The Rapper, Earl Sweatshirt, SZA, Travis Scott, Ty Dolla Sign, John Mayer, and Swimming collaborator, Thundercat.
