Nigeria’s Hauwa Ojeifo wins first MTV Generation Change award

"Biggest Fans" is the group's sixth (!) MTV Award of the year, as they have already won five awards - including "Best Group Video" - between the MTV Millennial Awards, MTV VMAs Japan and MTV MIAW in 2018.

Ojeifo's works' border on mental health, especially for women and she has been identified as a vibrant voice in creating awareness for mental health in Nigeria. "Women, our voices will be heard!"

The singer who in the "Biggest Fans" category at this year's show, looked like a princess in her gown.

And pop super-group Little Mix performed their new single "Woman Like Me" with Nicki Minaj, who picked up the award for Best Hip-Hop Artist.


The world first learned of Cabello when she appeared on the USA version of "The X Factor", becoming a member of the group, Fifth Harmony.

The show, formerly known as the MTV Europe Music Awards, celebrated its 25th edition in northern Spain. At The Disco made an action-movie entry.

The spectators went wild singing along to "Malamente" by Spanish sensation Rosalia, but the most moving performance belonged to Halsey. When the cube lifted, water poured down on her like rain.

The 52-year-old singer received the Global Icon Award at the MTV European Music Awards on Sunday night, and she used her speech to speak about gender equality, justice and love.
