Pak television embarrasses Imran Khan with 'begging' slip-up

"Strict action has been initiated under rules against concerned officials".

The administration of Pakistan Television (PTV) says someone from the news team accidentally mistyped PM Khan's location as "Begging" instead of Beijing - bringing a storm to the social media.

Following a meeting between Imran Khan and Chinese President Xi Jinping, reports had said that China had promised an aid of $6 billion to Pakistan.

An IMF team is due to arrive in Islamabad later this week to open formal talks with the Pakistani government on the subject.
