Nokia 9 leaks out boasting five rear cameras

The leaked Nokia 9 renders showcase a single front-facing camera on the top and volume rockers along with the power button on the right of the display.

Are you excited for the Nokia 9? While five of these are camera lenses, the sixth is a dual-tone LED flash unit, while the seventh (on the right) appears to be a dual-sensor which will likely be used for proximity detection. Their most recent flagship remains the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835-powered Nokia 8 Sirocco, which was launched back at MWC in February. (@OnLeaks), 91Mobiles has created some high-resolution renders as well as a 360-degree video of the upcoming Nokia 9 PureView.

Thanks to the prolific (and nearly always accurate) leaker Steve H. over on Twitter, as well as 91mobiles, we get to check out those five rear-facing cameras in a bunch of high-quality renders today.

The report goes on to add, "We can't confirm exactly what the Penta-camera lenses will consist of, but if we had to assume, we'd guess the setup includes a telephoto lens, a wide-angle lens and a depth-sensing camera, among others".

The Nokia 9 is said to have a 5.9-inch QHD display with what seems to be an 18:9 aspect ratio.

Two cameras on the back of your phone not enough?

A new report showcases the upcoming Nokia 9 renders with the Penta lens cameras on the rear.

Numerous elements, including the five-lens camera on the rear, have been spotted in previous leaked images but there were also several details released with the images. Face unlock is also likely to be supported. Alongside there's no 3.5mm headphone jack as well, which means this would be another flagship Android phone to ditch the standard 3.5mm jack. There are rumours suggesting that it will include other top-of-the-line specifications such as 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and the handset will be kept alive by a 4150mAh battery.
