Joe Horn thanks Michael Thomas for cellphone celebration, buys his jersey

It only was a matter of time before Michael Thomas reached the end zone Sunday afternoon, and the New Orleans Saints wide receiver made the most of his moment when he finally found paydirt.

Michael Vick's down for touchdown celebrations. but when it comes to pullin' out cell phones in the endzone like Michael Thomas did Sunday??

Horn's celebration drew the Saints a 15-yard penalty, while landing him a $30,000 fine from the NFL.

"When I saw him bring out that cellphone, I teared up", Horn said.

On Monday, the National Football League announced that the Week 11 matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and New Orleans Saints will move from 1:00 p.m. ET to 4:25 p.m. ET on FOX.

Thomas said the message on the sideline was about being smart at the end of a close game. "We don't want to corrupt the game like that".

In case you missed it, here's a look at Thomas' touchdown celebration, which paid homage to former Saints wideout Joe Horn, courtesy of Jordan Heck. In a move straight out of the early 2000s, Thomas ran to the goal post and revealed a flip phone that he had hidden before the start of the game and pretended to make a call.

Horn said he also let Thomas know that he ordered his No. 13 jersey to wear when he comes to any Saints events - "hopefully the Super Bowl". According to Jeff Duncan of NOLA.com, Horn thinks Strahan is being so salty about it because the Giants got destroyed 45-7 by the Saints in 2003 and Horn scored a whopping four touchdowns. "All these guys are having fun and catching touchdowns and celebrating with each other and getting the crowd involved".
