Saints, Dez Bryant negotiating deal after workout

It was reported on Monday that Dez Bryant would be meeting with the Saints for a workout along with Brandon Marshall and Kamar Aiken.

While the Cowboys were at training camp, Bryant took shots at the franchise as well as several players, on Twitter.

Tre'Quan Smith has 12 receptions for 214 yards and three touchdowns for the Saints, who saw fellow wideout Ted Ginn Jr. placed on injured reserve last month and Cameron Meredith struggle this season.

The Saints locker room can handle the personality of Bryant should he sign.

The Saints win over previously unbeaten LA has solidified them as a threat to make the Super Bowl.

Dez Bryant and the New Orleans Saints are reportedly in negotiations after he worked out for the team on Tuesday.

Pelissero acknowledged in his report that Bryant has gotten close to agreeing to terms before, turning down an offer with the Baltimore Ravens said to be worth $21-million over three years. New Orleans also has its No. 88 jersey available. However, the Cowboys did trade for Oakland Raiders wide receiver during their bye week this season.

The veteran wide receiver hasn't seen any National Football League action since being released by the Cowboys in April after spending eight seasons in Dallas.

Last season, Bryant had 838 receiving yards and six touchdowns.
