Stephen Curry, Draymond Green out vs. Nets

Stephen Curry, Draymond Green out vs. Nets

On Friday afternoon, coach Steve Kerr spoke to the media and called the results of Curry's MRI "encouraging". "But he's not going to play (Saturday)".

We're more focused here on the day-to-day variance that can help you win a few bucks. The sharpshooter left the game in the third quarter with a groin injury and did not return. So it will be kind of a day-to-day thing, but, obviously, we won't do anything insane.

The injury occurred with 6:50 left in the quarter as Curry tried to contest a move by Bucks guard Eric Bledsoe. Curry was then immediately rushed for treatment, where he received his MRI scans.

Quinn Cook will start for the Warriors in place of Curry. Tune in on Saturday for updates on his condition. "So, this doesn't look like it's going to be a long-term injury".

"He's a little bummed out but I think the MRI was basically good news", Kerr said of Curry's state of mind.

The Warriors have games against the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday and Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday. "He's disappointed, but it could have been a lot worse". The movement with the quad is fine. Green is averaging 7.6 points, 7.2 rebounds and 7.9 assists per game.

"As a team we played really hard". He's feeling a lot better, but he's hardly done anything basketball-wise. He will have to do that several times before Kerr is ready to put him back on the floor in a game.
