Tamera Mowry's Niece Among Victims of California Bar Shooting

Mowry-Housley and her husband, former Fox News correspondent Adam Housley, confirmed their niece was a victim in the mass shooting in a statement.

- Vintage High School in Napa was in mourning Thursday after confirmation that Alaina Housley, 18, who graduated in June, was one of the victims of the mass shooting at a Thousand Oaks bar.

Tamera spoke with some of Alania's friends on Twitter and asked for her information so they could speak in private. "Can you please DM me your information?" she wrote.

Adam's most recent Instagram post, a photo of Alaina, was immediately filled with comments.

The couple searched for their niece, Alaina Housley, for hours before learning she was one of the 12 who were killed after a gunman opened fire in the venue.

"My gut is saying she's inside the bar, dead", Housley said, according to the Times.


Tamera went on to say, 'I will miss our inside jokes, us serenading at the piano. I'm a lover of words, photography, books, travel, animals and The Ohio State Buckeyes.

The couple has been frantically searching for their niece, Alaina Housley, who was inside the country-western bar when the gunfire erupted.

Housley's Apple Watch and iPhone showed her location at the bar until today but her family was hopeful she had left them there before fleeing. "Please pray. I am numb". On Instagram, Tamera wrote a heart-wrenching statement on the loss of her cousin.

She asked Alaina's friend, Ashley, if her niece was the only girl from their group unaccounted for, to which Ashley replied: "Yes, all the other girls are safe".

The Sister, Sister actress then closed off by emphasizing how much she loved her and how Alaina was going to make "one gorgeous angel". "The Real is heartbroken for the victims of the senseless tragedy in Thousand Oaks, which included Alaina Housley, the niece of Tamera and Adam Housley", the post reads. My heart breaks. I'm still in disbelief.

Meanwhile, Adam pleaded with his 105k Twitter followers: "Please pray if you believe. pray".

In addition to those that were killed, 10 people with gunshot wounds or lacerations were sent to Los Robles Regional Medical Center for treatment and have since been released, hospital officials said.
