The actual day, it's worth noting, is on Sunday.

California Pizza Kitchen: CPK is offering a free meal to veterans on Sunday, Nov. 11.

Participating McDonald's restaurants in the Greater Houston Area will honor military servicemen and servicewomen with a free Extra Value Meal this Veterans Day (the offer is valid both Sunday, Nov. 11 and Monday, Nov. 12).

Cracker Barrel - Active and former military can get a free coffee or slice of double chocolate fudge Coca-Cola Cake on November 11.

Denny's: Denny's is offering veterans a free Build Your Own Grand Slam from 5 a.m. -noon on November 12.

Veterans past and present may enjoy a free drink of any size on Veterans Day (11/11).

CiCis Pizza: Free adult buffet for active military members and veterans with proof of military service. Swing by Starbucks for a free tall hot brewed coffee on the 11th. All donations will go directly to Taylor's family.


IHOP: Veterans can grab a free stack of Red, White and Blue pancakes at participating locations from 7 a.m.to 7 p.m. Monday. Just mention the deal at check-out to get the free meal.

Goodyear Auto Service and Just Tires will provide free "checks for vets" for members of the USA military and first responders.

This Sunday, veterans and active military personnel can stop by Freddy's Frozen Custard and Steakburgers and receive a free combo meal card to use during their next visit.

Dollar General: Veterans get 11% off.

Longhorn Steakhouse: Free appetizer or dessert, plus 10 percent off bill. Some Utah locations, such as 1664 N. 1200 West, Layton, will also honor this deal on Monday, Nov. 12.

Chipotle: Show your military ID and receive a buy-one, get-one free burrito, bowl, salad or tacos.

All veterans and active duty military will be offered one of eight full-size entrees for free.

Texas Roadhouse: Every member of our military will receive a free lunch Sunday. Appetizer selections include: Sweet chili shrimp, mozzarella cheesesticks, Parrot Isle jumbo coconut shrimp, seafood-stuffed mushrooms, lobster and langostino pizza and signature shrimp cocktail. Dessert options include: vanilla bean cheesecake, key lime pie, warm apple crostada, Chocolate Wave and Brownie Overboard.

All day on Sunday, November 11, all veterans and U.S. military will receive a free sandwich, two sides and a regular beverage, applicable on either dine-in or carryout orders at every City Barbeque location.

All active and retired service members with a valid military ID can receive a complimentary Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer at all Bonefish Grill locations. The deal will go from 11 a.m. -4 p.m.
