Sadly, when Todd Howard spoke to Gamestar earlier in 2018 - before Fallout 76's divisive reception brought the following quotes to light - he pointed out that going forward, the team will still be using the Creation Engine.

Fallout 76 pre-order customers are counting down to the release of Bethesda's next major release.

The game will be available from midnight on November 14 in all regions, so you can get stuck in straight away.

Fallout 76 officially launches tomorrow, November 14th, on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in all regions.

Preloading for Fallout 76 has begun as of today, for people who have preordered the game, which Bethesda announced on Twitter earlier.

If you're undecided about Fallout 76, then you might want to wait for the review scores to go live. That said, though, it's good to see that the studio is giving fans a better idea as to what kind of DLC they should expect after the game's release later this week, especially considering that Fallout 76 will basically be adopting the ever-growing "games-as-a-service" distribution model.

The only problem is that the original game install from the disc is only 45GB.
