First Dumbo Trailer Reveals The Super-Cute Baby Elephant

First Dumbo Trailer Reveals The Super-Cute Baby Elephant

Continuing Disney's live-action trip down remake lane, Tim Burton's adaptation of Dumbo continues to barrel its way towards cinemas. Lavish circus scenes! Overcoming the odds!

The cast for this new effort is stacked to the gills, sporting the likes of Colin Farrell, Michael Keaton, Danny DeVito, Eva Green, and Alan Arkin. Holt and his two young children, Joe (Finley Hobbins) and Milly (Nico Parker), soon find out that Dumbo is no average elephant: his butterfly wing-like ears grant him the ability to fly - just the kind of attraction the struggling circus needs to become popular and profitable again.

The House of Mouse dropped the new footage during CMT's Country Music Awards on Wednesday, November 14, giving audiences everywhere the best look yet at director Tim Burton's reimagining of the 1941 animated classic. Eventually, they discover that Dumbo can fly, and this helps the circus make a comeback, except things don't go to plan when Vandevere gets involved. But the new Dumbo trailer is here to remind you that this movie is coming out, and that we'll get to see Farrell in at least one upcoming big-budget fantasy movie. Dumbo soars to new heights alongside a charming and spectacular aerial artist, Colette Marchant (Eva Green), until Holt learns that beneath its shiny veneer, Dreamland is full of dark secrets. Also, I wasn't aware that DeVito and Keaton were involved (many have pointed out the Batman Returns reunion with Burton), making this way more promising than I was expecting!

And we dare anyone to stand up and say they didn't tear up when Dumbo and his mother were separated, and then cry triumphantly when they stole a few moments together through the barred window, trunk to trunk.
