Sony Reveals PlayStation Black Friday Deals

To date, the PlayStation 4 has sold 86.1 million units, which means that it's now outsold both the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360. Other good deals include the PlayStation VR Bundle with Creed: Rise to Glory and Superhot VR, and of course, DualShock 4 on sale for $39 at either Walmart or GameStop (we're seeing about seven colors available currently). It has also released 11 major updates since launch.

Those are fantastic numbers for any generation, putting the PS4 just behind the massively selling PS2, which shipped some 87 million units in its first five years and more than 150 million consoles in total. Five years in - and in an age when we keep hearing that question over and over, about whether the console era has passed - you might be surprised at where this review lands: "In an age of affordable PCs and ubiquitous smartphones, you can certainly argue that dedicated video game consoles have become less relevant". Count yourself lucky if you got your hands on one of these gems. The five best-selling games were unsurprisingly Call of Duty: Black Ops III, Call of Duty: WWII, FIFA 17, FIFA 18, and Grand Theft Auto V. Although, let's be honest, most of us are here for the games and Sony does not want to disappoint as they have up to 60% off on a bunch of popular games and will have specials on quite a few triple-A titles. Games priced at $20 include NBA Live 19, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, Persona 5, The Evil Within 2, Nascar Heat 3, and many more.
