Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 revealed for Nintendo Switch

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 revealed for Nintendo Switch

"MARVEL ULTIMATE ALLIANCE is all about teaming up with your friends and creating your own "dream team" of Super Heroes to go on adventures across the Marvel Universe, and Nintendo Switch is ideal for delivering on that promise of cooperative gameplay and shared experiences".

But in the end none of that happened.

In the first major surprise of tonight's The Game Awards 2018, Marvel Games came out and made a stunner of an announcement by revealing Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order.

To recall, the game's prequel Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 was initially released back in September 2009. Both Captain Marvel and the Avengers 4 films will premiere that year and this game neatly ties into those.

Gaming giant Nintendo and entertainment behemoth Marvel on Thursday announced a partnership to unveil an exclusive title for the Nintendo Switch portable gaming console.

The game will be coming to Nintendo Switch exclusively in 2019. and it's developed by Team Ninja! It's like Super Smash Bros. but with Marvel characters.

All other details around Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order will be revealed sometime in the future.

The Ultimate Alliance games, and their predecessors X-Men Legends, were action role-playing games that looked and played much like the Lego games, before they were really a thing.
