Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi has loan terminated by Valencia, confirms general director

Batshuayi has netted just three times in 23 appearances in all competitions for Valencia.

The La Liga club confirmed Batshuayi's premature exit, opening the door for a deal in the second half of the season.

This season so far the Spanish side have been struggling in the league, and we reported this week about the precarious position their manager now finds himself in. We are negotiating the player's exit with various other clubs.

The Chelsea forward was a disappointment in Spain, scoring only twice in 23 matches for the club.

Valencia sporting director Mateu Alemany confirmed Batshuayi would be heading back to Stamford Bridge at a press conference on Thursday and said there is plenty of interest in the Belgian worldwide.

He was quoted as saying by Spanish daily AS: "I think we have to bring in players".

'The player knows. For the good of the player and the club, we are looking for a solution.

The Belgian striker was taken on-loan from Stamford Bridge in the summer after the World Cup with Valencia trying to aim as high as possible in the league.

It is believed that Crystal Palace, Fulham and former club Marseille are all courting Batshuayi's status, be it loan or permanent.

Everton are reportedly planning a winter approach for Michy Batshuayi, who is scheduled to return from an unsuccessful loan move with Valencia.
