Juventus organise signing ceremony for Arsenal midfielder Ramsey next week

The Welshman is expected to sign a five-year contract with the Old Lady, worth an estimated €40m, before moving to Turin in July.

The Wales worldwide is Arsenal's longest-serving playing, having moved to the Emirates from Cardiff City as a teenager back in 2008.

Ramsey has scored 52 goals for Arsenal including the all-important FA Cup winners against Hull City and Chelsea respectively.

Arsenal had been open to a sale during the January transfer window, but Ramsey will now see out the campaign with the North London outfit and complete 11 years at the club.

And Emery insisted on Thursday that he will still count on Ramsey for the rest of the season even if he does finalise a deal with Juventus.

Ramsey, 28, is already free to sign a pre-contract agreement with foreign clubs and had been courted by a number of big names with Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan also reportedly interested. In his 25 appearances for Arsenal this season, the Welsh has managed to score 2 and assist 6 goals.

Reports suggest that Aaron Ramsey is set for a medical this weekend ahead of his summer transfer to Juventus (via The Guardian). He is likely to replace one of Emre Can, Rodrigo Bentancur and Sami Khedira, with the latter possibly leaving the club in the summer.

That partly explains why Ramsey's game time has been limited and is among the factors attracting him to Juventus, where manager Massimiliano Allegri tends to operate with a three-man midfield.
