Manny Pacquiao attends Clippers’ Filipino Heritage Night, meets Floyd Mayweather at courtside

The People's champ Manny Pacquiao graced the Staples Center in Los Angeles and reunited with Floyd Mayweather Jr. during the NBA Filipino Heritage Night on Tuesday, Jan. 8 (Wednesday, Jan. 9 Manila time).

Pacquiao visited the Clippers' locker room, and took pictures with the players ahead of their game against the visiting Charlotte Hornets.

Mayweather and Pacquiao both had storied careers and the exchanged the pound-for-pound king label in the late 2000s and early 2010s. The two boxers met at the sidelines and shook hands after the "Pacman" had finished tossing shirts to the crowd.

Pacquiao, meanwhile, has said he wants a rematch with Mayweather but Floyd has said he's retired. It was like he was saying a quick hello to some fan that came up to him.

Just like before they fought in 2015, the two boxing superstars met at a Miami Heat game and the biggest Pay-Per-View fight in boxing history was made shortly after.

Ten days before facing Adrien Broner to defend his WBA welterweight crown in Las Vegas, Pacquiao racked up eight rounds of sparring, four apiece against Australian George Kambosos and Ecuadorian Arnold Gonzalez.
