The odds, though, appear to be stacked in UAE's favour as the Alberto Zaccheroni-coached side has a better Federation Internationale de Football Association ranking of 79, has won 8 of the 13 games between the two sides and will be spurred on by the noisy home crowd. If you ask me - without taking anything from Thailand, the least hard one among the three matches was against Thailand. The most hard game one will be against the UAE and lest we forget, Bahrain will be equally tough for us. However, we are not trying to get carried away with the emotion.

After Gurpreet Singh Sandhu was given the captain's armband for the opening tie, Constantine, sticking his rotation policy, has named Sunil Chhetri as skipper for the UAE clash.

Stephen Constantine's men come into the tie on the back of a brilliant all-round performance that witnessed them claim their first win in the AFC Asian Cup in 55 years. "From my side, as a coach and the players, we will do our best to win".

Stephen Constantine has reinvigorated the Indian team with a lot of energy and counter-attacking strategy. Eurosport will broadcast the games of the Asian Cup 2019 live in the European countries. "We have to fight in every game and aim to take three points".

India will be more cautious in their approach against UAE compared to their previous games against Thailand.

However, the surprise package was rookie forward Ashique Kuruniyan, Udanta Singh being the livewire down wide right. "They didn't play to the best of their capabilities (against Bahrain)".

Chhetri is a five-time Indian player of the year, but he was always looking to move overseas to further his career. "They are a very good side but they are just another team standing in our way", said Constantine. "Our back four has been playing together for some time now".

But he's still scoring goals for his country. Mabkhout had a bad game against Bahrain but will look for redemption against India.

Midfielder Ismail Hammadi is also a key player in UAE's scheme of things. He is a traditional winger and is known for his crosses inside the box.

The UAE will need to improve vastly on their display against Bahrain, when they required an Ahmed Khalil penalty three minutes from time to salvage the draw. The defence did cave in to the pacy Thai forwards at times but managed to get the job done in effective fashion. While the game against the Thai was a tough one, India will face a much-stronger challenge from the Emiratis, as they will be raring to go after their 1-1 draw against Bahrain in the tournament opener.
