Dyche labels Tarkowski to Liverpool rumours as 'bizarre.'

However, their campaign is in danger of being derailed due to an injury crisis at the back with Virgil van Dijk the only available centre-back ahead of Saturday's trip to Brighton with Dejan Lovren, Joel Matip and Joe Gomez all on the sidelines.

Both Matip and Gomez have been out of action for the last couple of months and Croatia worldwide Lovren is the latest name on the casualty list.

Camacho impressed a great deal for Liverpool in their last game, a 2-1 loss at the hands of fellow Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers in a FA Cup third round clash.

But the Turf-Moor outfit have insisted on a permanent deal for the defender, slapping a hefty £50million price-tag on the England global.

However, it's unlikely that Liverpool would shell out £50m for his services, although while a loan move could be an outside option, given Burnley's precarious position in the table boss Sean Dyche would simply not let this happen.

"There are a lot of rumours out there and not much fact", Dyche dismissed the transfer rumours.

The teenager is eligible to sign his first professional deal on his 17 birthday in just over a week's time, and there is a feeling around Anfield that he could be one of the most impressive young players to emerge in recent years. That is just weird.

James Tarkowski to @LFC?

Liverpool were interested in the 26-year-old, whose contract runs until 2022, last summer but he continued at Turf Moor.

Now looking at the asking price and Burnley manager Sean Dyche's comments it looks the Reds will face tough time acquiring the defender and might have to break the bank again to hold any chance of landing him.
